On August 12, 2025, Tactica premiered its first short film, The Cost of Noise, a powerful narrative written and directed by Seun Fasogbon. The film was unveiled to an international audience at the Youth Sustainable Development Conference 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya, marking a significant milestone for the creative house as it steps into storytelling that blends social impact, sustainability, and the Nigerian experience.

In Nigeria, survival has always come at a cost, and too often, that cost is measured in noise. The constant hum of generators, the growl of engines straining to keep businesses alive: this is the reality for countless small entrepreneurs.

Our short film, The Cost of Noise, captures this truth. It tells the story of Seun Fasogbon and his mother, Oyinlola Fasogbon, who, in 2015, built a print shop with resilience, sacrifice, and vision. Yet behind their ambition laid an exhausting challenge: the overwhelming cost of fuel, repairs, and the relentless demand to keep power running.

When the pandemic arrived, silence replaced the noise. Out of that pause came a new path - one built not on fumes but on light. Solar became their quiet revolution, proving that survival can also mean sustainability.

More than a film, The Cost of Noise is a reflection of the Nigerian experience. It is about resilience, reinvention, and the courage to choose a different path. It challenges us to think about what we lose when we normalize struggle, and what we gain when we embrace innovation.
